Who is eligible for the procedures?
RESET® is available for Types 1 through 3 on the Fitzpatrick scale. Laser Upper and Lower Lid Surgery is available for all types.
What are festoons?
Festoons are also referred to as malar mounds. They are a medical condition in which the skin of the lower eyelids and cheek regions becomes swollen. Though elastic and collagen fibers usually keep the skin smooth and tight, sun exposure can damage them, leaving them unable to perform this function.
Fluid can seep into the space this creates between the layers of damaged skin, causing swelling. Festoons typically occur with age and are more common in people with lighter skin types.
